Event Description:
On World Hearing Day, Patient Welfare Organization launches the “Raising Awareness Protecting Ears” (RAISAPE) project in Lilongwe District, Malawi. In partnership with the Lilongwe District Health Office, we will conduct sensitizations and community outreaches to educate communities on good ear care, signs of ear infections, and prevention methods. We will address stigma surrounding hearing loss, promote health rights, and provide hearing aids to needy patients at Kamuzu Central Hospital. Additionally, we will engage local leaders, schools, and community groups to amplify our message. With your grant support, RAISAPE will bridge the knowledge gap, promote ear care, and improve lives of Lilongwe District residents affected by hearing problems.
