Event Description:
With an increasing number of students facing hearing difficulties and loss within our school and region, we would like to bring staff from the School of Special Educational Needs: Sensory service to Geraldton to upskill staff on how they can best support ALL students to make ear and hearing care a reality for all. This training is currently unavailable to our staff as training is only conducted in Perth which is five hours away and there is no online option. By accessing a grant, we hope to bring the experts to us to ensure that we are able to build capacity to support some of our most vulnerable students.
