Event Description:
The activity will take place in a local school to celebrate World Hearing Day 2025. The event aims to raise awareness about hearing health and its impact on lifelong success. The program will include activities for students, teachers, and parents, focusing on prevention and early detection of ear and hearing problems with a special focus on recreational noise exposure in young people. We will have talks, hearing screenings, “check your noise levels” and the distribution of educational materials. By engaging the entire school community, the event seeks to foster a culture of empowerment and shared responsibility for hearing health. As a co-organizer we will count with JUNAEB, a government organization under the Ministry of Education.
