Event Description:
A round table will be organized on the topic of exposure of children and young people to noise and preventive examinations for young people who are not part of regular systematic examinations, that is, the health system in Serbia, which is one of the most pressing problems related to their health today. At this event, specialists in otolaryngology, decision-makers in the healthcare field, members of the working group for healthcare policy), and representatives of youth will speak. The primary purpose of the event is to discuss the pervasive issue of children and youth’s exposure to loud music and environmental noise, as well as to map specific activities and services in the community that will later be advocated for inclusion in the public health plan of Bečej. The event is planned for March 3 in the Bečej municipality building and we expect at least 5 speakers and 50 panelists.
