To commemorate World Hearing Day 2025, we plan to conduct an-in-person Town Hall Meeting bringing together adolescent youth from the community, policy makers, healthcare workers and the general public thus providing an opportunity to champion for decentralization of resources to take care of ENT needs at the community level. The Town Hall Meeting will to create a platform for the youngsters to have open and honest conversations about the risks of listening to loud music which is crucial for prevention of hearing loss. In this forum we will engage health workers and policy makers as facilitators/panellists who will educate the adolescents about how to prevent hearing loss by being aware of how loud music can harm their hearing health. In the run-up to the D Day, we will also run social media campaign using WHO materials as well as print leaflets for distribution.
