Event Description:
The event will consist of a one-day interactive workshop involving 50 youth and healthcare workers from Health facilities and community organizations. Activities will include educational sessions on ear and hearing care, practical demonstrations on safe listening habits, and group discussions to develop community-specific awareness campaigns. The workshop will also feature a panel discussion with healthcare professionals and policy advocates to address the challenges of hearing loss and strategies for improving ear care policies. Participants will receive an “ear and hearing care Toolkit” to facilitate their advocacy and outreach efforts. This activity is designed to influence policy discourse through a youth-led lens, introduce hearing care solutions at the community level and promote ear and hearing care education at health facilities.
