The HearWell Kids Pathway project is a school- and community-linked initiative designed to promote early identification and prevention of childhood hearing loss in Osun, Nigeria. Aligned with the 2026 World Hearing Day theme “From communities to classrooms: hearing care for all children,” the project will implement child-focused hearing awareness, routine ear screening, and teacher–parent empowerment sessions across selected primary and secondary schools. Led HearWell and supported by Audiologist volunteers, we will conduct mobile hearing screenings for 400 children, deliver WHO-endorsed education materials, train 30 teachers and school health workers, and engage parents in strengthening referral pathways.
