The Portuguese Association of Audiologists organised two awareness sessions: AudioCafé, a Live Facebook Session, and WHD – Changing Mindsets, an in-person session. The AudioCafé was a session with Audiologists and Psychologists who work with people with hearing loss. It addressed the different perspectives on hearing diagnosis and rehabilitation, sharing strategies for professionals to help people overcome their fears and feel empowered towards their hearing loss. The WHD – Changing Mindsets session was organised with Moita Municipality for the general population to bring awareness regarding noise-induced hearing loss and hearing protection, and early diagnosis and rehabilitation.
