We ran a cross media campaign to raise the awareness of cochlear implants. In line with the WHD theme “Changing mindsets”, we reached out to the public via social media, radio and newspaper, focussing on the message: “When hearing aids are no longer enough.” This was driven by our research that shows that cochlear implants are not discussed with many people struggling with their hearing aids. Free assessments for hearing implants were offered in our Ear Science Implant Clinic.
