As a Visual and Hearing Health program of the Ministry of Public Health, we participated in a state radio program with nationwide reach, to talk about the Prevention of deafness and cochlear implants, in the context of the celebration of World Hearing Day with the WHO slogan: ¨Changing the mentality¨. We highlight some myths and behaviors applied by communities that can damage hearing and provide tools to avoid deafness.
