Impactful Story:

A Abdumumin, a 25-year-old student from Bill and Melinda Gates Bauchi State College of Health Science and Technology, Ningi, benefited from MUMSA Initiative World Hearing Day event in Ningi, Nigeria. After attending a workshop on safe listening practices, Abdumumin realized that she had been exposing herself to loud music.

He made a conscious effort to reduce her music volume and now encourages her friends to do the same. Abdumumin behavior change demonstrates the event impact on promoting healthy listening habits among youth, ultimately preventing potential hearing loss.
