NISH in association with the Indian Medical Association, National Initiative for Safe Sound and Association of Otolaryngologists in India conducted Public Awareness program on March 2nd, 2025 from 4:00 -7:00 pm at Museum Compound, Thiruvananthapuram. The event was inaugurated by Shri Thomas Jose IPS, City Police Commissioner, Thiruvananthapuram. As a part of the public awareness program, graduate and postgraduate students of the National Institute of Speech and Hearing (NISH) conducted flash mobs and street play. Awareness was also spread by displaying posters and distributing pamphlets, wrist bands and bookmarks.

NISH in collaboration with AOI conducted Seminar on “Confounding Situations in Ear Cases” and “Holistic Approach towards Hearing Evaluation and its Implication” on March 3rd, 2025 from 2:30 -4:00 pm
at Marigold Hall, NISH. Senior Otolaryngologist from Medical College Hospital, Thiruvananthapuram and Private Hospitals, PG ENT medical students, practicing audiologists and undergraduate and postgraduate students of Audiology & Speech Language Pathology (SLP) attended the program.
