Title: Empowering Students Today To Shape A Healthy Hearing Future
Alternate tite:

Empowering students today to shape a healthy hearing future

Description:

The hearing health awareness event, conducted to mark World Hearing Day (WHD) 2025, brought together 13 participants, including school nurses, teachers, and students from four government schools. The primary objective was to educate attendees on the significance of ear health, preventive measures against hearing loss, and proper ear care practices. Otolaryngologists and audiologists from CHEERS Hospital led engaging educational sessions, providing valuable insights into hearing well-being, the causes of hearing impairment, and effective prevention strategies. These sessions were followed by interactive discussions that encouraged participants to address common misconceptions about hearing issues and explore practical solutions. The event underscored the importance of early detection and preventive care in maintaining good hearing health. Participants expressed their appreciation for the informative sessions and pledged to disseminate the knowledge gained within their schools and communities, fostering a broader culture of hearing health awareness.
