Impactful Story:
Caroline Mugasa Kobugabe, shared her powerful story during the World Hearing Day commemoration.Recounted how prolonged exposure to loud noise in her work environment gradually led to her hearing loss. At first, she dismissed the early signs, thinking they were temporary. However, as her condition worsened, communication became increasingly difficult, affecting both her work and social life.
Caroline learned about the impact of noise exposure on hearing health. She has since become an advocate, educating others on the importance of hearing protection and early intervention. Her story highlights the urgent need for preventive measures and community support for individuals.
