As every year, we celebrate World Hearing Day throughout the month of March. This month, we launched a screening campaign with 50% discounts for newborns, children, and adults. It was very well received, with more than 700 services provided this month. We also held a raffle for two hearing aids for a person with hearing loss. The winner is a 3-year-old child, who will now be able to hear thanks to this contest. In addition, we held hearing care talks at the Teofilo Davila Hospital’s senior citizen club.
On a personal level, I traveled to Colombia on March 3rd to complete my electrophysiology certification.

Impactful Story:
I held a raffle for two hearing aids for a person with hearing loss. The contest consisted of sharing the image and tagging us on the Instagram page @oidosecuador. Finally, the winner was Emilio, who is 3 years old and was diagnosed with progressive hearing loss at birth. However, his parents were collecting the money and he went to his checkups. Well, it turns out he won, and that excites me because thanks to the hearing aids, he will be able to improve his communication.
