Alternate tite:
Amplifon’s group commitment
Description:
Amplifon, the world leader in hearing solutions and services, celebrated World Hearing Day on 3 March by organising a number of initiatives around the world to provide information on hearing health and prevention: in particular, the Group organised a day of hearing tests using its proprietary iPad-based technology (OtoKiosk) at the headquarters of the Luiss Business School in Rome and, once again this year, together with Udito Italia onlus, sponsored the Italian edition of the Hearing Marathon organised by the WHO at the Palazzo Montecitorio in Rome. Free tests were also offered to members of the public at the headquarters of the 15th department of the city of Paris, and to employees of various companies at the large building in Melbourne’s central business district that houses the offices of Amplifon Australia. In addition to Italy, Amplifon Australia, Germany, and France also offered hearing screenings at its global headquarters in Milan for employees in Melbourne, Hamburg, and Paris. In total, more than 200 people had their hearing professionally tested in all these locations.
In Italy, during the month of March, Amplifon launched a radio and TV campaign dedicated to Hearing Month and several local partnerships dedicated to customers of large retail companies to reinforce the preventive message on hearing health. In addition, the Group’s social profiles are also promoting a campaign dedicated to the essential role of the hearing care professional in the hearing care and prevention experience. Finally, Amplifon has launched radio, TV, digital, and social media communication campaigns dedicated to Hearing Month in Spain and Colombia. In Portugal and the Untited States, Amplifon’s Group hearing care professionals were hosted in public television shows to spread the message about the importance of hearing health and hearing health prevention.
