The objective of this program was to train health workers in CHPS and Health centers on primary ear care to improve the quality of ear and hearing services in the North Tongu District.
Specific Objectives
1. To equip health workers in CHPS and health centers with the knowledge and skills necessary to
provide primary ear care.
2. To improve the quality of ear care services delivered in CHPS zones and health centers.
3. To reduce the prevalence of hearing loss and ear-related problems in rural communities through
increased early detection and management of ear and hearing problems.
4. To Improve community awareness on ear and hearing health.
Venue was at the Catholic Hospital Battor Cervical Cancer Prevention and Training Center on the 28/02/25 when 62 healthcare providers where in attendance. Also present was the Medical Director of the Facility, the Nurse Manager of the Facility, all departmental heads.
