We did a series of conferences talking about different ways that sound and silence impact our lives. 1) Noise-induced hearing loss, 2 ) Benefits of silence, 3) Anxiety modulation by audio, 4) Recreational noise in concerts, 5) Noise psychological and physiological effect, 6) Music and hearing loss, and 7) Recommendations on hearing healthcare were the topics of the talks. We created an open forum for university students to generate awareness of the effect of sound, discussing around positive and negative physiological and mental impact. University students, PhD students and professors join in celebrating the World Hearing Day getting a little more of information about how to take care of our listening habits.
