The event consisted of two phases:
First, we delivered printed WHF materials to the Ministry of Health, the department responsible for audiology, so they could be distributed to all public hospitals and healthcare centers (a total of 2,100 units). In the second phase, we prepared a talk for patients and professionals from the otolaryngology service at Hospital de Clinicas (National University School Hospital). We discussed current technological solutions for addressing hearing loss and the care required for using a hearing aid.
