In alignment with World Hearing Day, observed annually on March 3 and spearheaded by the World Health Organization (WHO), the Ministry of Health launched a nationwide social media campaign focused on promoting safe listening behaviors across the general population. The campaign supported WHO’s global message to raise awareness of preventable hearing loss, particularly from unsafe sound exposure related to personal audio devices and entertainment settings and specially about videogamimg.
The main objectives were to encourage behavioral change through accessible, youth-friendly digital content and promote ear and hearing care as essential to general well-being and public health.
