The Department of Otorhinolaryngology at the Faculty of Medicine, Prince of Songkhla University, has celebrated World Hearing Day 2024 with impactful activities. We hosted a free hearing screening camp and knowledge-sharing sessions. Approximately 300 participants registered the event. The “Parental Education and Sharing Event” brought together 60 onsite and 60 online participants. This engagement meeting served as a platform for sharing knowledge and experiences, fostering a supportive network for families with children experiencing hearing impairments. The “Occupational Hearing Loss Prevention Program” attracted 30 participants from healthcare and factory settings. We emphasized the importance of awareness, guidelines, and preventive measures for a safer working environment. The positive feedback received from participants underscores the impact of these initiatives. Our ongoing plans include an Online Education Program, Capacity Building Program, and efforts to strengthen healthcare infrastructure, aiming to augment both the quantity and proficiency of primary healthcare professionals capable of delivering hearing screening.
