The project aims to raise awareness on World Hearing Day under the theme “Changing Mindsets: Ear & Hearing care for All, let’s make it a reality”
Women Advocating for Gender Solutions and Mentorship celebrated the WHD with the below events.
*Educational workshop in the primary community health centre old airport Minna and Al-asas college of health technology
*Social media campaign through sharing of stories and sensitizing the audience on ear care
*Community Awareness event with audiologist ,health professionals,hearing impaired association members in attendance ,free ear screening ,ear cleaning and distribution of promotional and educational materials and drugs for the hearing impaired persons ,the event was in collaboration with the Niger state ministry of primary health with former perm sec ministry of health and the Director Nursing primary health care
*Local radio/ Tv campaign with ENT Consultant from the mainagge ENT clinic.
