The Medical Surgical Conference began in 2005, in the city of Él Tocuyo, Lara State, Venezuela, its founder is Dr. Jose Manuel Chema Colmenarez, Venezuelan Otorhinolaryngologist and Otologist, who decided in 2005 to donate his work to low-income people in his native city.
The American Academy of Otolaryngology gave us the Nikhil Bhatt Award in 2019
