Our WHD event included two sessions: A morning session and afternoon session. The morning session included 4 lectures to spread awareness to the general public about newborn hearing screening, removing the stigma from HA users, effects noise exposure, and ear infection. The afternoon session included 5 lectures to spread awareness to the healthcare professionals about various topics related to hearing. Alongside the educational lectures, there was an exhibition hall of most hearing aid and cochlear implant centers in Lebanon. Lastly, free audiological tests were offered to 50 individuals who attended the morning session.
