The department of ENT at AIIMS Nagpur has planned the following activities:
1. Free hearing aids distribution to 30 hearing-disabled persons through Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Jan Arogya Yojana (MJPJAY) on 27/2/2024
2. “Temporal Bone Dissection Workshop” in association with Department of Anatomy, AOI Vidarbha branch and Carl Zeiss India which supplied microscopes, on 3/3/2024. Ten postgraduate students and senior residents of various medical colleges of Maharashtra took active participation and completed hands-on training on various otological surgeries. Dr. Vinay Vijayendra, well known ENT Specialist from Bangalore was the chief demonstrating faculty for this workshop.
3. Public awareness campaign using WHO IEC material conducted via audio-visual display at OPD block of the Hospital
