“The University of Benghazi and the Specialized Surgical Centre conducted a hearing screening event. Faculty members collaborated with postgraduate students, members of the Libyan Otolaryngology Society, members of the Libyan Cochlear Implant Society, pediatricians, cochlear implant recipients, and hearing aid patients. The event took place in the presence of the Minister of Health and his team. They all celebrated World Hearing Day by announcing the start of the neonatal hearing screening program in Benghazi city.”
