” Awareness of Deafness Threat” Training on Early Detection of Hearing Loss & Serumen Extraction for Public Health General Practitioners in Lumajang

As a form of preventive effort against these risk factors, a Training of Trainer (TOT) activity was carried out for public health general practitioners in Lumajang on Early Detection of Hearing Loss and Cerumen Extraction, where this training is expected to increase the competence of general practitioners in First Level Health Facilities so that hearing loss can be treated earlier.
The workshop, held in the meeting room of Wijayakusuma Hospital Lumajang, was a series of activities to commemorate World Hearing Day 2024, every 3 March, which is a work programme of the PGPKT Lumajang in collaboration with the Association of Otorhinolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgeon.
Training provided to 25 public health doctors in the form of initial ear examinations, screening for hearing loss in infants and children, filling & reporting ear disorders and ear health counselling in the waiting room of outpatients of Wijaya Kusuma Lumajang Hospital
