Under the patronage of HH Sayyidda Hujaija Al Said, the Audiology and Communication disorder unit of ENT department and Health Education and psychological counselling department, organized an awareness event at Al Nahdha Hospital on 7 March 2024 based on this years’ theme. The event was attended by the Director General of Khoula Hospital, Hospital director, assistant hospital director, HOD ENT and other health care workers of Al Nahdha hospital.
Different hearing aid dispenser clinics and cochlear implant companies also participated in the event raising public awareness on ear and hearing care.
The event was covered and broadcasted by local TV channel.
A live awareness interview was broadcasted on local FM Radio by senior audiologist Dr. Taji Al Balushi, covering the theme of this year’s world hearing day, raising public awareness.
