Every year, Mongolian Otolaryngologists celebrate World Hearing Day. This year, the Otolaryngologists working at private and public hospitals have planned to organize various events to increase awareness and provide information about hearing loss and its prevention. Almost 35 private and public hospitals in both the urban and rural areas of Mongolia came together to raise awareness about hearing loss and promote ear and hearing care. The event was successfully organized in the Mongolian capital city of Ulaanbaatar as well as in the countryside. The hospitals provided various activities such as free hearing screenings, consultations, and workshops to educate the public on the importance of hearing health. This effort aimed to encourage people to take better care of their hearing and seek early intervention if necessary. One of the most noteworthy aspects of this year’s event was the strategy of leveraging social media platforms to increase participation and engagement.
