The World Hearing Day celebration in 2024 at Government Medical College ,Kozhikode commenced with a policy talk involving key stakeholders from various the Government officials of Kerala . 300 volunteers and core members of the IIM Kozhikode Marathon team wore WHO “I am hearing loss friendly “ badge during entire event to spread awareness on hearing loss, reaching around 10000 people in Calicut city . Raising awareness through conducting Cyclathon & Walkathon and the event was conducted in collaboration with various professional and parents’ associations connecting with 5,000 members of the public, 200 in-house representatives. In-house activities throughout March included photo frames, hangings, and posters, reaching more than 1,000 people daily in our campus. A cadaveric temporal bone dissection workshop was conducted limited to 26 delegates and featuring 19 external faculties is laudable for its commitment to empowering medical professionals in the field of Ear and Hearing .
