Ours is a tertiary care hospital attached to the Medical College. We celebrated World Hearing Day for one week From 2nd March to 7th March 2024. During this time, we conducted hearing loss screenings for adult patients and provided hearing aid trials to those who needed them. For those who wanted to purchase hearing aids, we made them available at reasonable rates. On 3rd March, all patients with hearing aids and cochlear implants were called for a get-together. The people who fund our activities like Rashtriya Bal Suraksha Karyakrama officials from the surrounding five districts, the District Health officer, the Deputy DHO, the Dean of Medical College, the Civil surgeon, and the Medical superintendent attended the program and exchanged their views. The program was a big success. The news was reported by various local news paper and TV channels.
