‘Hear to Greater Heights’, the Mount Kinabalu climbing expedition was successfully conducted on 17th to 18th February 2024 which aimed to raise the public awareness of hearing loss and the importance of early intervention of hearing impairment. 25 climbers including 8 patients and their parents have successfully participated in this expedition.

‘Hearing Outreach Program for Empowerment’ (HOPE) was held on 29th February to 4th March 2024, which was a collaborative project between public hospitals, private hearing aid centers and academic institutions which has helped 200 patients for early access to hearing care in Kota Kinabalu.

On the 5th March 2024, the national level celebration of World Hearing Day, Malaysia, was officiated by Dato’ Dr. Mohd. Azman bin Yacob, the Director for Medical Development Division, Ministry of Health Malaysia. On the same day, ‘Silent Champions’, a seminar for parents with hearing impaired children was conducted.
