The booklet was developed by professors from the University of São Paulo (USP), researchers from the Technological Research Institute (IPT), a public prosecutor, and the office of Councilor Eliseu Gabriel from the SP Municipal Council.
This booklet addresses issues related to noise and public health, annoyance, legislation, protection, to inform and mobilize the population. The launch took place on March 22, 2024, during an event at the Sao Paulo City Council, with the distribution of the printed and online booklet, talks with the authors and an invitation for the public to participate.
To reach a greater number of people and make the action more efficient, the booklet prepared will be available on the Speech and Hearing department of USP website (Research laboratory on auditory and non-auditory noise-effects, identification and prevention of hearing risks).
