Changing mindsets in future health professionals – Awareness campaign at the University of Auckland

The University of Auckland Grafton Campus (Auckland, NZ) is home to many current and future health professionals and researchers, including many undergraduate and postgraduate students studying to become future health professionals. In this collaborative effort, the Eisdell Moore Centre, the academic researchers at the University of Auckland (AVTNC) and the Master of Audiology Student Association (MASA) organised an awareness-raising campaign with World Hearing Day brochures, posters, a team to discuss hearing health and research, fundraising, and some fun, engaging activities. Through continued discussion and increasing visibility about hearing health and hearing research, we hope to change the mindsets of all those who are currently and will be, in the future, drivers of the health system. As part of the awareness campaign, we also had two featured articles on our nation-wide radio network through our university marketing:
