It is known that World Hearing day(WHD) is celebrated every year on the 3rd of March Globally. EHC Project-SPHMMC in collaboration with CBM celebrated the WHD event for the 6th time in Ethiopia this year. This year’s celebration is done with the theme of “CHANGING MINDSETS, Let’s make ear and hearing care a reality for all!.
A total of 40 participants were invited to celebrate this event, of the invited guests 39 guests attended the ceremony. These include participants from SPHMMC, partner organizations, associations of people living with disabilities, ENT professionals and media.
IEC/ BCC materials like stickers, T-shirts, Posters ( in Amharic and English) were distributed for the participants.
The results of the Ethionpian National Hearing survey were presented which was done for the 1st time in the country.
