Rethinking is always a challenge. That is why we members of the Hearing & Language Committee of the Union of European Phoniatricians (UEP) and the Audiology Committee of the International Association of Communication Sciences and Disorders (IALP) have organized a joint international webinar to share what “Changing Mindsets” means in the colourful diversity of our community. In this webinar, organized by Katrin Neumann and Philipp Mathmann from the University of Münster, Germany, together with Mridula Sharma from Macquire and Flinders Universities, Australia, students and professionals from different continents, where hearing and audiology care is not yet as established as in high-income countries, shared their experiences and ideas. The webinar includes a discussion with students from Australia, India, and New Zealand, furthermore interviews with and short presentations from audiologists and pedagogues from Kazakhstan, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Indonesia, Nigeria, Egypt, India, and Ukraine.
