Event Description:
The Department of Disability Studies, Faculty of Medicine, University of Kelaniya and the “Ayati” Centre organised a series of activities from the 24th of February to 03rd of March 2022 to celebrate the World Hearing Day in collaboration with the World Health Organization. These activities included a television talk show and a webinar on safe listening, hearing screening programs for young adults, adults and individuals with Down syndrome and autism and separate awareness programs on safe listening for young adults and individuals with Down syndrome, autism and public awareness campaigns.
