Event Description:
A Scientific Policy and Information Forum on Program Development on Hearing Health was organized last March 1, 2022 which aimed to engage various government agencies such as DOST, DOH and DOLE in developing implementable actions and policies that can prevent hearing loss and its associated morbidity and mortality. The 3 hour program covered congenital hearing loss, occupational hearing loss, and biomedical innovations in teleaudiology, and it was a good opportunity to discuss gaps in research, policy and legislation. Prof. Xingkuan Bu graciously shared his experience from China.
