Specific goals of these activities consisted of the following objectives:
1. Capacity building of medical professionals in public hospitals ;20 doctors and nurses from different public hospitals in Burundi received training certificates on primary ear and hearing care.
2. Campaign to raise awareness of hearing loss prevention and widely disseminate the World Health Organization Global Standard for Safe Listening Entertainment to promote its adoption and implementation.
3. Advocacy Day, and the Presentation of the Roadmap to Expand Hearing Health Improvement Services in Burundi”
