Event Description:
A screening cum awareness camp was organised by the department of ENT in collaboration with community medicine. 100 adults and 150 students aged 5-10 years were screened for any hearing problem. onsite ENT consultation and free medicines were distributed. school staff and parents were sensitised about hearing loss and its early identification. Additionally Department of ENT organised a short lecture and video presentation about hearing screening and noise induced hearing loss for general public who came to the outpatient departments. The event was covered widely by print media.
