Event Description:
Our main event was in the hospital grounds. We invited government officials, musicians, night club proprietors, leaders from mining and bottling companies and owners of metal and carpentry workshops. Presentations covered issues related to the theme of world Hearing Day. T shirts and caps (with theme printed) were worn by those who attended. Hearing screening was offered to everyone that day or in the coming week. It was covered by three radio stations (including interviews with audiologist and ENT) and social media. It. We had positive feedback including contact from the Minister for Health.
