Event Description:
Awareness session/campaign with undergraduate allied health sciences students, including audiologists, optometrists and orthotics and prosthetic personnel, conducted throughout the month of March 2022. They were made aware of the importance of hearing throughout the life course using references from World Hearing Report 2021. Students were also introduced with WHO Global Standards for Safe Listening.
A public sector primary school for girls was approached and brochures about WHO Global Safe listening were distributed.
WHD messages were disseminated through whatsapp groups and email.
