Event Description:

TASLPA is one of the organizations which got selected for WHO grant along with the 51 applications worldwide. A Cyclothon and Walkathon were conducted from P.V.Gyan Bhoomi to Peoples Plaza, Necklace road with 200 Practicing Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists Doctors and Junior Doctors (Students). Hon’ble Musheerabad MLA Shri.Muta Gopal attended as chief guest and flagged off the cyclothon and walkathon. In his speech he advised the public to protect the hearing by avoiding loud noises and excessive use of ear phones and head phones. He also told that not to neglect hearing problems.

We suggest WHO to continue these kind of activities every year and provide support and encouragement to TASLPA always. We also suggest WHO to celebrate World Audiologists Day like World Hearing Day on 10th October every year.
