Event Description:

Our event focused on five target groups:
1. Adolescents: we held health talks on safe listening practices at two high schools in Nyahururu town Ndururumo high and Ndururi high schools
2. Healthcare workers: we had a continuous medical education at the Nyahururu County Hospital on noise induced hearing loss (NIHL).
3. Young adults: at the local medical training college, we had a lecture on NIHL and a health talk on safe listening practices.
4. Club owners and community health workers: meeting advocating safe listening practices
5. Local policy makers: meeting on the status of hearing services
