Event Description:
In celebration of World Hearing Day 2022, Benghazi Early Hearing Detection & Intervention Awareness Team, held a seminar at the University of Benghazi. The audience included physicians, medical students, academicians, speech therapists, journalists as well as policy makers. The seminar program agenda consisted of 3 presentations on: WHO World Report on Hearing, Newborn Hearing Screening Program, and Effect of Age at Cochlear Implantation on Auditory Skills Development. The activity also included a questionnaire for physicians to study their knowledge about hearing screening and hearing loss.
