World hearing day celebration of 2022 was inaugurated by the honourable Health Minister of Kerala State Smt Veena George.A 1 week state wide program with various activities relating to safe listening. The activities conducted were mentioned below. World Hearing Day awareness live speech through National Health Mission – Kerala (arogyakeralam) facebook page by Social media campaign,Newspaper ads,Making of awareness videos, wall painting, awareness classes for health care workers, industrial workers, ear and hearing screening camps, awareness campaigns for young adults regarding safe listening.
