Event Description:
QECH Audiology clinic team/ENT team organised the event on the 3rd March 2022 in Malawi. The venue was at Ndirande main market. The target population was the general public and the Tin smith workers. The aim of the event was to create awareness on safe listening, advocacy and hearing screening. We managed to screen 70 people, 37 had impacted wax, 5 had perforations, 8 had hearing loss and 20 others had ear related issues such as Otitis externa, etc. The event was broadcast on times TV news bulletins: https://fb.watch/bzl_FWv33X/. NIHL VIDEO was shot and is available for the general public.
