Event Description:
World Hearing Day celebration was officiated by Mr. Khairy Jamaluddin, the Minister of Health Malaysia on 3rd March 2022 which emphasized safe listening and early detection/intervention of hearing loss in babies. A one-minute video on early detection and intervention of hearing loss has been launched during the event, followed by a media conference. WHD celebration continued with a series of awareness campaigns in March- articles in newspapers; talks on national/local radio and television; live Facebook sessions; advocacy and public education campaigns on social media and local hospitals.
