Event Description:
hearX Kenya celebrated World Hearing Day 2022 in partnership with Ilara Health in peri-urban areas surrounding Nairobi and Kisumu in Kenya. Six community clinics raised hearing awareness in their surrounding communities through various community mobilization activities and hosted hearing clinics where the community could have their hearing checked. The clinics were brightly decorated and all who attended were educated around hearing protection and maintaining hearing health. A radio interview was also conducted to create awareness.
