Community hearing enhancement project

On 3-4/03/2024, Srisangwornsukhothai hospital, in collaboration with the network of Sisatchanarai community hospital, Sub-district health promoting hospitals, District Public Health Office and the Office of Social Development and Human Security of Sukhothai Province, organized the World Hearing Day 2024 event and the community hearing enhancement project.
The objects are
1. To identify people with hearing loss who have not had access to services by provide audiometry test.
2. Issue disability certificate to moderate hearing loss persons
3. Register them as disabled individuals on the same day (one-stop service).
3. Schedule them for hearing aid fitting.
The project results are..
1. 154 participated
2. 95 persons were issued with a disability certificate
3. 62 persons were issued with a disability card
4. 82 persons were scheduled for hearing aid fitting.
